The only museum dedicated to glass in Catalonia with live demonstrations of glass-blowing techniques shown by the master glazier. The pieces made here can be purchased in the Museum shop.
The visit to the Museum takes a look at different old glass objects, the history of the origin of glass and the glass industry at the start of the XX century in Vimbodí i Poblet. We will be able to identify objects of every day use (jug, cruet...) and others that seem anecdotal (toys, matrimony...); and learn the vocabulary and how to identify the tools used by the blower and the utensils and materials used by the twill makers to coat the glass carafes.
