The columbarium of Vila-rodona is the most important Roman vestige of the municipality. It is a funerary building from the 1st century where the funeral urns were stored with the ashes of the deceased. These were deposited in niches attached to the walls. The interior was divided into two parts by means of a central wall that separated the porch from the cell. The presence of columbarium evidences the existence of a lot of activity in this area at Roman times.
