Do you know how the peasantry and bourgeoisie lived in Valls at the end of the 19th century? The Catalan bourgeoisie shows a taste for the arts and culture and the new cities see modernist and Noucentist buildings emerge. While the peasantry and the labor movement set the pace for the new century: in Valls the 1st Agricultural Society of Catalonia was born. It follows the imprint of the architect Vives-Castellet, collaborator of the Commonwealth of Catalonia, in an era as creative as convulsive. Enjoy the effervescence of the market, and come back to the present tasting products of proximity in the old wine vats of the Agricultural Society of Valls. Camins Km0 will discover this exciting piece from our recent history.
